Overview: Since the beginning of each new technology, at Friedland Marketing we were one of the first to not only try it out but also use it for marketing, business founding, and so on. For example, we might have even used new technology when it was under the development stage and we did not even know it, as others asked that we try it. Moreover, we were among the first to do the following:

#1 -- Use online teaching methods at HP/ Agilent, where we used them to create worldwide Coffee Talks.

#2 -- We used LinkIn and Yahoo! Groups when they were first on the market, or perhaps before then.

#3 -- We were using services such as MarketWire and PRWire from beginning of such media distribute for a fee services that were offered then, and now.

#4 -- We were using Microsoft PowerPoint slides from almost the beginning for clients or employers such as but not limited to the City of San Jose City Manager's Office, Deputy City Manager, and so on.

#5 -- We joined Facebook and Twitter more recently, yet were able to use them almost fully from the first day.

#6 -- We used e-mail and the Internet from almost the first year that they became commercial, building web sites using Homestead.com technology since that company was first publicly known, since acquired by Inuit. Moreover, we have built over a dozen web sites for ourselves, others, and so on.

#7 -- Our talks have been provided either by us or others about over 100 times, when we created the talks, and often even coached people such as CEOs.

#8 -- Our social media skills include but are not limited to actually setting up the technology on our own by figuring how to do so or taking workshops, to using them on a working level with either business colleagues, potential business colleagues, or friends.

#9 -- With our Coffee Talk online talks worldwide, we actually set up the technology ourselves by learning how to do so and in some cases phoning technical support services or by practice online.

#10 -- We have ownership of our own TV camera, digital cameras, camera tripod and carrying case, plus have taken semester-long courses in film study to ones more recently offered by a local New Mexico senior center and a person who is from the State of New Mexico Tourism Office who gave public talks.

#11 -- Our talks have been given since the beginning of our career over 30 years ago, often up to five days a week for groups ranging up to 500 people per talk, or to delegates from other cities or United Way, per request and approval and attendance of our supervisors.

#12 -- We have given talks on a worldwide basis at a worldwide awards dinner for media and marketers (called the former The Dalton Pen) to online talks using PowerPoint and the phone to talks to groups of people using languages with our team of English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Cambodian. We have trained in public speaking through graduate school at one of the top four programs in the United States at the time, through Stanford University in a semester-long speech making course, and through ToastMaster's International where we won many awards and were asked to leave so that other people could have a chance to win.

#13 -- Our articles, media releases, and company backgrounders and bios, to our extensive and detailed media plans, coupled with our professional training in journalism for various media from including worldwide experts on each topic in some cases has resulted in the following:

#A) Over 1,200 articles and broadcast stories
              published worldwide.

#B) Articles in media often full-page or half-page
as they were quality and detailed in content.

#C) We bring about a 98% media acceptance rate,
almost unheard of in the PR field, yet the other
articles were literally forced upon us by clients,
employers, and others, when we said "no",
it is not newsworthy or worth sending out.

#D) Finally, we have extensive media in the range
              from the most well-known magazines,
TV national stations, to the trade press
(for a specific audience who works in a specific
kind of job), to online media e-zines, to a
              publishing of a weekly newsletter
for city government, to writing and establishing
newsletters for over 30 years, to writing a
50-article BLOG that is now offline to become
              part of our future book.

#14 -- Our work is quality.
