"Lucille Friedland....organize[d] and promote[d] NAWBO-NNM's donated use of a hot air Balloon Fiesta hospitality tent. Lucille had about seven (7) days to create an event where our members could showcase their businesses at the International Balloon Fiesta.... in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My experience of Lucille is that Lucille is organized, develops useful systems, thoughtful, unassuming, interested in discovering problems and solving them. Productive and competent, Lucille resolves problems and gets the job done right."

"Since Lucille Friedland consulted for our bookstore, it has expanded to 10,000 square feet and now also includes an educational toy store.... Lucille helped us define our purpose and set goals for performance.... Lucille helped us design a program... we named 'Read to Succeed.' Working with the school vice principal and BookSmart to make reading cool in school, Lucille developed a program of student involvement, publicity, incentives and rewards. It is very effective and a major reason for BookSmart's continued success today."

"Since year 2000, Lucille Friedland has been a top notch judge for the former Dalton Pen Awards, an international communications competition. Lucille deserves an award for Lucille's contributions! In Lucille's first year of judging, Lucille designed a standardized scoring system.... still in use years later by the judging panel. Lucille took extra effort in writing evaluations of each entry, and Lucille's analysis was extremely thorough, insightful and sincere. These are the same qualities that I see in Lucille as a person, and in all of Lucille's work products."

"The NAPO-SFBA Web site brings us a tremendous amount of exposure and effectively represents our work and the spirit of our Chapter. At the last Chapter meeting we had 30 paying guests who read about the meeting on the Web site. In fact, during the meeting a member of the audience rose to her feet and said the site was fabulous."
